Production INTERN


Pantochino is currently seeking a Production Intern to work with us for the Fall 2016 season and Winter/Spring 2017. Intern will assist in the rehearsal process and participate in a myriad of duties during performances. This 'part time' internship is a great opportunity for college-aged individuals or anyone who would like to be involved in professional theatre production. Pantochino is current accepting submissions for it’s new musical, “Noni Cimino’s Kitchen.” The musical recounts the events of an Italian-American family in the 1970’s. Seeking: Noni Cimino (age range 50’s-70’s), a big-hearted, sharp-witted Italian grandmother who speaks broken english. Italian speaking actor a plus! Non-singers encouraged to submit. Aunt Lori (age range 30’s-40’s), Noni’s daughter-in-law, a spit-fire jewish gal who married into the family. Evening/Weekend rehearsals begin in April with weekend performances April 21-May 7. PLEASE NOTE! In general we look for actors who live in, or have accommodations in Connecticut (as we do not provide housing). On occasion, we do job-in actors from NYC. All positions are non-union. Per performance based pay for adult actors.


Pantochino always welcomes volunteers for a myriad of tasks including front-of-house staffing (ushers, concession stand) during performances, stage crew and publicity distribution to name a few!
