AUDITIONS

Pantochino is currently accepting virtual audition submissions for its upcoming 2026/27 season. Producers Bert Bernardi and Jimmy Johansmeyer are seeking non-union, Connecticut-based* actor/singers for lead and character roles in three original musicals: “The Real Housewives of Sleepy Hollow,” “Christmas Carol” and “At This Performance.” Especially seeking:

For “The Real Housewives of Sleepy Hollow” - Character men and women, and…

KATRINA VAN TASSEL - Described in the Washington Irving novel as a coquette. she is cheerful, graceful, smart, poised and elegant. Age 18-25, a knockout who sings and is deft at comedy.

For “Christmas Carol” - Character men and women, and…

THE SCRATCHIT CHILDREN - Bob and Emily Scratchit’s little family. One male (age 12-15), One female (age 10-12) and Tiny Tim (age 8-10). The children participate throughout the show in ensemble scenes and feature moments. They all sing!

For “At This Performance” - This is a backstage musical comedy. There are many opportunities for lead and character actors who sing.

Pantochino is open to non-traditional casting and encourages participation by performers of all races and ethnicities and identities.

FOR THE VIRTUAL AUDITION, please start your self tape by identifying yourself and tell us what you will be sining. (“Hello, I’m Esther Smith and I will be singing “The Egg Song”). We’re happy to hear your entire song, but if you prefer, give us your best 16 bars that show off your voice. For adult performers, please submit an uptempo and a ballad. For children, just one song will do! Please include a resume and headshot, too!

SUBMISSIONS WILL BE WELCOMED NOW THROUGH AUUGST 15, 2026. CALL BACKS WILL TAKE PLACE IN SEPTEMBER.

Pantochino always welcomes volunteers for a myriad of tasks including front-of-house staffing (ushers, concession stand) during performances, stage crew and publicity distribution to name a few!
